Following the successful ‘100 Years of Midland Red in Coalville’ Bus Festival in 2025, Leicester Transport Heritage Trust will once again showcase preserved buses and cars. Free classic bus trips during the day.

Doug has been gardening since he was a child. He trained as a horticulturist, working in the industry before spending 20 years in horticultural education. He is now an author, a senior examiner and professional associate with the RHS and a horticulture business consultant. He co-presents a garden phone in show on BBC radio Humberside and is a popular speaker. Doug is a self confessed plant nerd. Charity Link’s Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge is a beautiful hike (or run!) through the Charnwood countryside, taking place each September to raise funds. Starting and ending at Beacon Hill Country Park, with Challengers taking on the summits of Beacon Hill, Bardon Hill, and Old John in Bradgate Park. Since the Challenge launched in 2016, our amazing Challengers have raised over £116,000!

Toby Buckland is a well known gardener, tv & radio presenter, writer and author. He was the main presenter from 2008-2010, and still appears on BBC’s Gardeners World today. Based in Devon, Toby now hosts the annual “Toby’s Garden Festival’ along with his wife Lisa at Powderham Castle, Exeter.
