The tour will take you through a mine machinery display, inside the colliery to the 1970’s Control Room, and the Lamp Room where the miner collected his electric cap lamp and his respirator and, if he was a Deputy, his flame safety lamp. Charity Link’s Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge is a beautiful hike (or run!) through the Charnwood countryside, taking place each September to raise funds. Starting and ending at Beacon Hill Country Park, with Challengers taking on the summits of Beacon Hill, Bardon Hill, and Old John in Bradgate Park. Since the Challenge launched in 2016, our amazing Challengers have raised over £116,000!

Based in Devon, Toby now hosts the annual “Toby’s Garden Festival’ along with his wife Lisa at Powderham Castle, Exeter.
