Water colour artist Katy Widdowson brings her first solo exhibition 'In the care of the wild' to Coalville Can, exploring the emotional truth of being a carer and the healing presence of nature in life and art! Explore the exhibition at CAN HQ from the 16th of September to the 4th of October. You're also welcome to come along to an informal social on the evening of the opening. Meet the artist behind the exhibition and chat with other visitors from 6pm to 8pm on the 16th of September. Totally free to attend, with refreshments available

Toby Buckland is a well known gardener, tv & radio presenter, writer and author. He was the main presenter from 2008-2010, and still appears on BBC’s Gardeners World today. Based in Devon, Toby now hosts the annual “Toby’s Garden Festival’ along with his wife Lisa at Powderham Castle, Exeter. Jack and Laura Wilgoss run a small independent nursery and garden housed within the old brick walls of a former kitchen garden, nestled in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. They started as specialist growers of hardy perennial viola but their range now encompasses many flowering perennials and grasses. Jack will be talking to us about the story of their nursery.
