Join Coalville and District Photography Society for their Annual Exhibition! Learn more about the society and how you can get involved, as well as exploring their annual display of work. Pop in to explore the exhibition from August 26th to September 13th. You're also invited to join the Society for an opening evening at CAN HQ, from 6pm to 8pm on August 26th! The exhibition and event are totally free to attend.

Doug has been gardening since he was a child. He trained as a horticulturist, working in the industry before spending 20 years in horticultural education. He is now an author, a senior examiner and professional associate with the RHS and a horticulture business consultant. He co-presents a garden phone in show on BBC radio Humberside and is a popular speaker. Doug is a self confessed plant nerd. On this return visit, Doug will be taking us back in time in the world of gardening. Members £2, visitors £4 – includes refreshments. All welcome, please come along!

Water colour artist Katy Widdowson brings her first solo exhibition 'In the care of the wild' to Coalville Can, exploring the emotional truth of being a carer and the healing presence of nature in life and art! Explore the exhibition at CAN HQ from the 16th of September to the 4th of October. You're also welcome to come along to an informal social on the evening of the opening. Charity Link’s Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge is a beautiful hike (or run!) through the Charnwood countryside, taking place each September to raise funds. Starting and ending at Beacon Hill Country Park, with Challengers taking on the summits of Beacon Hill, Bardon Hill, and Old John in Bradgate Park. Since the Challenge launched in 2016, our amazing Challengers have raised over £116,000!
