In July 2026, Barefoot Festival returns and this time, it’s extra special. We’re celebrating 20 years of Barefoot, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for a truly magical anniversary gathering. We are returning to the wonderful Cattows Farm in North West Leicestershire. Our much-loved Big Top will once again be the beating heart of the festival, bursting with dance and movement workshops, a high-energy family rave with DJs, and our spectacular burlesque show, hosted by the fabulous Talulah Blue. One of our most popular events returns this July as we host the top plant nurseries which are sure to have something special for every garden. There will be a fabulous line-up of specialist nurseries coming along to make it a special trip out for all garden lovers. So, whether it’s bee-friendly perennials, shrubs, plants for shade, trees, variegated or foliage plants you are sure to find something to create a blooming brilliant garden! Awesome Tudor Activities 2026 Join our noble knight for an exciting day of Tudor themed activities, games and crafts in the wonderful setting of our House & Gardens. There will be a repeat programme of activities running throughout the day. Activities will include: Welcome to the Tudor Age Sword School Arming a Knight Jousting Kids battle £5 per child. Join in with the best dressed pirate competition, sea shanty singing, cutlass training, treasure hunt, join a captain’s crew and man the guns for a great pirate battle! Normal admission applies, plus £3 per child – there’s no need to pre-book, just turn up and pay on the day. Aaargh!!!
