Snibston Heritage Trust
Description
The Snibston Heritage Trust is a local charity dedicated to preserving, promoting and interpreting the industrial and coal mining heritage of Coalville and the surrounding area. The Trust works to protect the historic Snibston Colliery site, share the story of Leicestershire’s mining communities, and provide educational opportunities for schools, colleges and the wider public. Through guided tours, community events, heritage projects and learning programmes, the Trust helps ensure that the region’s rich mining history remains accessible and engaging for future generations.
