Inspired by Coalville’s streets, people, and proud industrial past, this festival brings together local voices, artists, and audiences to create bold new theatre about the town, for the town. From coal seams to community halls, forgotten stories to shared memories, these shows are rooted right here.

Expect original performances in familiar places, stories you recognise, and moments that remind us who we are—and where we come from.  This isn’t theatre brought in from elsewhere.  This is Coalville telling its own story.
